“When Mr. Bilbo Baggins of Bag End announced that he would shortly be celebrating his eleventy-first birthday with a party of special magnificence, there was much talk and excitement in Hobbiton.

We are so grateful to everyone for the enthusiasm, and kind comments we have received since announcing the Conference. The fantastic and brilliant reporter for Middle-earth News, Myla Malinalda, did a great write-up about the Conference, which you can click here to read.

Members of the Silmarillion Writers Guild will be on hand either presenting or attending, with special thanks to Dawn Walls-Thumma for discussing the Conference in the SWG newsletter.

We have capped attendance at 150, and are very near that number, so if you have not registered this is your time to do so!
