We are happy to announce a new addition to the program line up for our June 13th Conference, and a revised program schedule grid.  We revised the schedule slightly per a few requests and also to make room for a new program to be conducted by “The Tolkien Professor,” Dr. Corey Olsen, Reading Tolkien’s Poetry: A Workshop

We are very grateful to Dr. Olsen for presenting this workshop and to all of our speakers who are sharing their work and love of Tolkien at the Conference.

Dr. Corey Olsen

Reading Tolkien’s Poetry: A Workshop

Many Tolkien fans have little confidence when it comes to reading poetry, and too many people, even among diligent Tolkien readers, either skip or skim the poems. Join Corey Olsen for a fun workshop session in which we will roll up our sleeves and learn how to get the most out of Tolkien’s poetry.

OB-UR038_hobbit_CV_20120920172920Dr. Corey Olsen is president of Signum University and founder of the Mythgard Institute, an online teaching center for the study of Tolkien and other works of imaginative literature. Through podcasts and his teaching website, The Tolkien Professor, Olsen brings his scholarship on Tolkien to the public.
